Wednesday WIP - back on the horse

It's been ages really... Blame it on Christmas, travel and a busy work schedule. I'm glad though that I did manage to squeeze in a little quilting the past few days.

I started a little pleasure project -  Stephanies latest pattern 'Peek-a-Boo Street'. It's really fun and very cute and I love going though odd ends and scraps to find the perfect centre. Often when I can't fin the motivation for a bigger project I end up making a house or two. It's like playing with LEGO  :)

Here are some of the little houses. I'm making it from blue and green scraps. I've got plenty houses now and are working on making some trees too. I'm not in a rush though and intend to enjoy the process:

Beginning of Peek-a-boo Street

Though there are plenty of WIP projects in my sewing room, the most important right now is finishing the blocks for the 3x6 bee - four down, two to go:

All in all I guess 2013 is starting of kind of slow, but be sure to go by Lee's Wedneday WIP for more updates

  13. That bottom block is a stunner!

I know what you mean about a slow start. I can't believe January is almost half gone and I haven't really sewn a thing!

  14. Those bee blocks are gorgeous! And I think everyone is a little sluggish off the top of this year. As of today, I've only done two posts but I'm okay with it. I'm usually a once-a-seeker anyway...

  22. Cille, those blocks are breathtaking! Gorgeous work! I was also in a major slump after Christmas. I think we all need some down time after such a busy holiday season.
