I finished the circle quilt this weekend. It will be a Christmas present for my funky little niece Elisabeth.
A few facts:
Started in October 2011
From the pattern: Mod Circles Appliqued Baby Quilt from Moda Bake Shop
Quilt: Hand quilted with Pearl 8 in orange, blue and green
Fabric: Various scraps and basic dark and light grey
I couln't agree more with the others: it's gorgeous! How much fabric did you use to make the circles (or an estimage)?? I loved the pattern and whwn you were working on it, you said it came together really quickly. I love that in a quilt.
Just reading through the pattern instructions, and wondered how you did the applique? The same as the pattern with the glue, or with fusible web or needle turn?
It's beautiful! And what a quick finish! I love the back, makes the quilt reversible!
