This is my first quilt with real half square triangles. Not kidding. I decided it was time to learn some basics and actually went though a tutorial online before I got started. There is a first for everything it seems.
I was originally planning to make a baby quilt (3x3 squares would be around 1x1 meter + borders) but I like doing it so much I might end up making it a lap quilt instead. I think I will see just how long my fabric lasts.
I am using fabrics from my stash and and also added some new ones to make it all come together.
The picture does not do the colors justice - it's bright and sassy. Turquise, blue, orange and brown. The background is linnen and cotton mix.
I'm excited !
