Post are regrettably few and far between these days. Productivity peaks at work and not so much in my quilting room. Here's a little view of what is currently at my design wall though...
I started this EPP project this summer but haven't gotten further so now I feel its time to wrap up the project and add some borders. April is my month in the Bee Europa and it's a perfect opportunity to make some headway on this quilt...but I'm undecided about what border to make.
I really like the two modern blocks you see next to the centre... The top fits the somewhat bulky look 'n feel. I adore to bottom block to be honest and would love to pick that, but it seems a little fragile to the rather massive centre. On the other hand it might look better when I get more blocks? I have to decide by tomorrow. Ah... decisions, decisions. What would you do?
UPDATE: I did a little palying with the picture in PowerPoint and all of a sudden the choice was obvious :)
A few more updates. For Bee Europa im March Gabriella asked us to do the sweet Granny Squares.
As usual I also whipped up a little bag with the same design as an extra gift - a tiny Granny square. The bag measures 8,5"x 8,5" when its closed. So cute :) Here's the back
And here's the front
And then I'm making Dresdens to my heats content whenever I have the opportunity. These will go on the black/white background and it looks stunning when I lay it out on the floor (no photo of that though). I'm making it all in rainbow colors and so far it looks really promising. The red is a biggie - the wedges are 8,5". Bold and very beautiful!
So that's what's on my design board these days...

New projects... I must be crazy
Let me just for the record say that I need not start any new projects anytime soon. Yet this weekend offered two of the kind.
The first one is a really great idea - Honeycomp stitch-along is a stitching school so to speak - hosted Jenelle @ Echinops and Aster. We're making a pillow using lots of different stitching techniques. The pillow size makes it less daunting :) The first task was easy-peasy - just regular EPP - but I know I'll be challenged over the next few weeks and strangely enough looking forward to it.

The other project is - well how can I put it - pure craziness. I was just in the mood for more EPP and at this glorious day of first day of spring the soft colors of Liberty was calling me. Could you have resisted? I have no idea how this will be used but I'm sure time will tell.

February catch up
A finish:
Work seems to take most of my time these days but luckily I still manage to squeeze in a little quilting time. My greatest finish this monthe is My house quilt that I made for my friend. I've had so much fun making it. The fussy cutting for the house centres, diving into the scrap bins to find fabrics....Ot puts a big smile on my face and I'm a little sorrry to part with it to be honest:
Bee blocks:
I'm finally back on track with my bee blocks - Celine had send us some cat fabric and as usual I was trying to send a little extra thing back with her block. There was no scraps from her blocks so instead I made a little cat inspirered pouch in black and white from my own scraps. Why I had to photograph it on my black kitchen table I'm not sure of. The pictures are bad but the pouch turned out well and Celine really liked it.
That was February for me... Limited quilting time and a short month on top of that doesn't do much for mass production :)
